Its Christmas week 2017, and we are very much ready for spending some much deserved time with our families ……………………..then the telephone rang.
A prestigious Gas company had a 5 metre long water coil heat exchanger radiator which had multiple failures due to frost damage.
We were asked if we could collect the coil from the north of England ‘ just 20 miles from the Scottish border ‘ repair the heat exchanger and deliver it back before the new year?
We did, but unfortunately the heat exchanger had so many failures it was beyond economical repair, HOWEVER, less than three weeks later we had re-manufactured the heat exchanger delivered it back to site and assisted with the installation, some 4.5 metres high up mounted upon other equipment.
The end result, a very pleased client with minimal down time for production, our competition was the original manufacturer from Italy quoting a further 5 weeks delivery time and considerably more pennies.
